On a saw that Is run in thick bark, I like the dogs to have a very acute angle and good depth to easily get a hold on the bark. The Dolmar dogs look like you would have to work to get them to hold well....$0.02

Scott
Looks pretty awful, and real full wraps into the bargain, not 3/4 ones - looks like a "homebrew" also, just an add-on welded to the halv wraps, at a weird angle - why is the right side bar further forward than the left????? .....:givebeer: :givebeer:

:ices_rofl: :)

Your distributor "Magneto Power" is in Portland Oregon 1-800-597-3880 give em a call see if they will set you up..

Scott

That was my point for "average Joe" buyer - - none visable in Western Washington.... heck, I don't need to call Portland; I'd just call you.:biggrinbounce2:

Madsen's has just as many Husky's as Stihls on the shelf.

I know that but everybody else didn't need to know.:biggrinbounce2:
I have actually seen a 7900 out here that one of the other members out here has. I am not sure I even know anybody personally who owns a Husky north of Roseburg Oregon where a couple cousins have em.
AAHH rememberd a certified forest service cutter has a 372 but rarely uses it always runs the Stihls at work.In 5 years hes ran less than 5 gallons of gas thru it. Gotta admit this is Stihl country.

I got wood!

Seriously cool saw Scott. We're placing our Fall order ASAP for the season.

I plan to have an ample amount of 5100S saws, and at least 1 7900 but I suspect that once I get 1 unit in the building.....it will baloon out to many.

My goal is to be like Scott, he's my hereo. Well....Scott, THall and Lakeside.

Everyone here on AS should own a Dolmar 5100 and 7900. I'm sure that Scott and I can cover most of the country that doesn't have a closer good dealer. I don't even have a Demo saw  I sold it and even my personal 5100 that was the b-squad Demo saw. lol
