Hi everyone.

I'm looking for a saw builder in the northern VA, MD, and even DC area. I tried a search but wasn't able to find a definitive answer. Still a noob to the forum.
I've called about every dern place around me and nobody knows anybody who still does it. Trying to get some port work done and some other odds and ends.

Let me know. Thanks.

Just to cut down on overall cost. Although the more I read, it seems like that is just something that comes with the territory.
I will happily take any recommendation

There is Randy (MasterMind) not far from you in TN, but he is always booked up for months. Only other builders I know are all out here in the west.

Im in Manassas
I know this is an old thread but have you done at port work on top handle saws? I am thinking about picking up a new Echo (I'm a Stihl guy but their top handle saws are absurdly priced and I do love my CS-590) but I'd like to have a mild port job done while it's new. I do all the maintenance work on my saws but even though i've worked in VW and Porsche air cooled engines for 30 years (Auto Motor ünd Sport as well as Porsche Pitstop/ Pitstop Motorsports in Alexandria and as a hobby) I just can't grasp 2 stroke engines. Anyway, I'm just over the mountain In WV (5 minutes from Charlestown Race track) so if you are interested let me know. If you have an recommendations on brand / model let me know
