I worked a long time ago on version 1.1 but never posted it here because there simply wasn't enough interest in this topic as it seemed to me.
The new version has two additional presets for chains because I received some feedback from users who have made the necessary measurements.

Additionally I have added a new type of gauge, the gauge type 2 bent. It is a modified variant of my gauge type 2 with the gauge bent (parameters bend position / angle). Harder to produce (precision bending), but it allows a wider range of material thickness and you can fine tune your gauge to your needs. Maybe not applicable for many users, I implemented it out of interest for the mathematical equations.

So here you are, version 1.1:

Not now.
I think the software is not really dependant on language. The 'hints' tab shows hints, not a legal text or a recipe. The tabs 'chain' and 'gauge' are showing illustrations which are self explanatory. The tab 'calculator' mainly uses the info of the other tabs.
If I find the time maybe I could make a German version...

Thank you, since I don't speak English I have a hard time, but I hope that you will find the time and the muse to translate the program.
But I have already developed my own method to adjust the depth limiters progressively.
