No you didn't and I'm not worried about it either. It is a good pic of a BAD bearing, use it all you need, a lot of people learn a great deal from your posts. I just didn't know my 064 was gonna be the poster boy for bad bearings! LOL

On a side note I'm picking up parts this weekend and it should be going back together shortly.

Would it be a good idea to put new bearings in, regardless? Got the clutch off, bearing on that side looks like new.

If they are in good shape, I wouldn't.

Nope.. the flywheel NUT thread is normal direction thread. Then you need the correct puller to get the flywheel off (tapered shaft)- don't use an automotive type puller... you need a service manual..


Cracked piston. Unusual, unless it's just about worn though on the skirt. Post a pic.
