Whats the difference between the MAC 110 120 130 160S Eager Beaver and such? they have the same engine displacment, engine compmonents, cases and all. the only thing I can see thats different is the color of the case.

Same question for the Eager beaver 2.1 PM 310 320 and 330 models from Mac. is it just another way of making homeowners think its a different saw when its really not?
Or is there some difference in the porting and such?

As Homelite/Mac figurd out very early The newest sells best.
Same engine different color, brand or model will sell again after redused sale.
Elektrolux does the same today with all their brands. When they stop producing a model or brand it will be sold too highest bidder.
for ex. the husky 160, 163, 180 is still in production, but husky sold it (to Tjeckien I beleave). So it all comes down to money, the price tag for development of a new product is delayed a little, and there is a chance of making a little more mony.

The Mac110 came with 10" bar, 120 came with a 12", 130 with either 14' or 16" bar. 140 came with 16' bar with or without selfsharpener. Trimming saws with little difference between them. I sent the ones I had to Bill Oaks. I have not heard back from him on wether he got the 130s &140s I FedEx'ed him along with a carrying case for the 140. He did get the 1635 I sent him for parts for the 3505.

Thanks.

Thats exactly what I thought MAC was up to on that model, just wanted to be sure about it. I love the Mac 130, had one that was my dads for many years, ran great till I ruined the cylinder on it about 4 or 5 years ago.
Wish I still had it though, great saws.
