I picked up a mac super 2-10 yesterday at a yardsale. It started on the 3rd pull. I paid $20 because it ran, condition ok muffler not tight moving around and dirty. Can anyone tell me how many cc's the saw is and if I can run 50:1 mix gas or go down to 32:1 or 20:1. I don't know much about the saw but after modifing my new homelite ranger and buying the rental makita 6401 from home depot I'm hooked. Any help is appreciated. It has the manual oiler buy the way and looks to have no air filter or way to install one. There is a plate over the top of the throat. I can post pics at the beginning of the week if needed.

The Mac 2-10 is basically a 10-10 with a different number. The 2-10 was made from '65 to '67 and is right hand start. The 2-10A ,1968 [auto oiler] is a left hand start ,they couldn't make up their minds. Both are 3.3 cubic inch.I never heard of a 2-10 super .

All ten series were basically the same, iron liner. They range in size from 3.3 cubic inchs to 4.3 cubic inchs. They will run good on 32 to one or 40 to one,I use the former but that is just my preference on the matter.
