I got mine, looks great , no time to install yet. I have done the roller catcher both ways and I like it bolted to the inner dawg a little better myself. Is there any reason not to do it that way besides personal preference???

Nice stuff!!!

Just got back from camping with the family. . . They all look real nice boys!! :cool2:

Brian, them 461's look nice blacked out -- I'm gonna bookmark that paint for trying it out soon. I'm always on the hunt for a better enamel.

I did two jobs in the neighborhood this weekend, just the OMG factor when you show up is huge, besides the way they work. Went to the neighborhood picnic and got swarmed, got three more jobs. The saw was the talk of the neighborhood, had to go back to the house and go get it. BTW, try noodling with them, the noodles just fall through and never clog. Nate, you da man!

Finally got around to this thread. Looks like you did good work and folks are happy. Nice!

Metals,

Do you laser those out? I was wanting to make some of my own, but the manufacturing facility I'm looking at cutting them for me is going to charge me out the wazoo to put a 52x120" sheet on the laser for two small parts. I was just going to draw up something I liked and then give them a .dxf. They are wanting $90 for two pieces cut blasted and powdercoated.

Thanks!

Jake

Nate,

You doing any husky dawgs? I wouldn't mind having something made up for my 372.

Thaks,
Wes

Wes, I am indeed doing up some husky dogs (if I can, they're fancy stamped and offset). I planned on mocking up some for the 385/390 and the 372.

I have some done for the 562xp and 7900 Dolly. The 346xp will be in there sometime as well.

Yes there is. Believe it or not. When you get hung up in a tree that is about to start tearing itself off the stump. You real quick pull the bar nuts off grab the pistol grip, lift and twist the power head. Sometimes you need to twist it with the grip toward the face. If the chain catcher is on the inside dog it can keep you from getting enough slack to get the chain off the sprocket and get you and the power head the h e double tooth pick out of there. . I've got it down to 30 seconds or less under duress

The way it should have been made!

There sure will be Mike. . . I'm trying to get my pricing all figured out though. Gotta make this thing worth my time, but still want to be the best deal out there.

Keep yer ears on and tuned to this thread. :)

Mobile Photobucket

Maybe this will work. If not, sorry!!

Glen, I know you're on your phone, so I don't know if this will work or not? But copy the image URL (it's an option on a PC when you right-click), and paste it in your reply.

The code should appear. . . At the beginning of the code type "[i m g]" and at the end type "[/i m g]" -- but without the quotation marks and spaces between the letters.

Doing that will embed the image in the post, like below.

Hey I think it worked.
Anyway, that is hands down the best set of dogs I ever owned. I had them on 3 different 394 s. The outer dog was never quite right but it wasn't noticeably off. The inner dog was CoreTen steel. It was tough and never bent even tho I knocked out thousands of faces with it.

If when anyone clicks the link, if your not looking at an old 394 husky, please let me know.
