We all know makita it’s going to stop gasoline saw production within the next two years.

What’s that going to mean for parts availability?

Carbs, clutches, P&C, fuel tanks, top covers, plastics, ignitions ....... air filters clutch hub bearings....bla bla bla...

I know there are aftermarket parts available but for how long do we think?

I cant imagine husky and stihl will do the same any time soon. They make to much money on saw.....

I hope.

Unless
The EPA pushes them to do it.

Good point

I saw a nice Dolmar for sale locally for $300. I passed. Figured I'd avoid the inevitable and stick to Husky.

Im my eyes it will never happen in the states. They would need to spend LOTS of money on marketing in the US and thats a big risk with the stihl and husky followings.

But if it just came back even in Europe then we are golden [emoji16]

Yup! At least that would maybe get some parts into the US market again.
