I've had this beast for a few weeks. It was in pretty rough condition and parts ain't just laying around for em......but we got it done.

At first glance it doesn't look too bad.....

Nope, that won't ever work on a performance engine. They need some air to run.

We ran it for a few cuts.......checked compression, timing numbers, etc.....then tore it back apart.

It had 145psi cold.

I work on anything that will help me keep the lights on.

Well, it initially looked a bit more dirty than the specs allowed, I believe! :msp_biggrin:

Yeah......it was an over weight pig with those 12 kilos of crud packed in there.

Randy won't ever get spoiled...(he's too salty and stuff.)

Tell em JJ......I'm too tired. :D

crank bearings still good? figured since you had it all tore down, might as well put a fresh set in there.

I ran an 084 as my primary wood saw for more than ten years and apart from the weight factor problem, found it the most trouble-free, reliable saw I have ever had. Great to see this one being put back to work, Randy.

The bearings were very smooth and the cages were fine as well. The owner has spent a good bit already.....I didn't want to cause him to have a heart attack. :msp_wink:

If it ever quits raining perhaps we can make a video...... :(
