nice work as usual Randy:rock:,i see you left the intake tonsil/ring support alone, bit of insurance never hurt seeing as you widened the port some ,
if you don't mind ,what numbers did you end up with on that jug?

Video is processing.

Hurt my wrist starting this beast. :msp_unsure:

something about your saws ,my elastrostart stretches about 3 inches out before my hybrid turns over and start seeing rope ,maybe i should trim the plastic and put a button on top of the jug :hmm3grin2orange:

That thing is a beast!:msp_thumbup:
Good thread.

You got to love 084 work saws. :msp_thumbup: They were my favorite big saws for work saws in the past.

We were toying with the woods ported 084's one day with short bars and big gears and they kept cutting faster all the way up to 3/8 11T . This was in the small 8x8 poplar. One of those saws lives with a 50" plus bar ripping hardwoods for a living now. ;)

This saw needs a 10 pin at least.....

For those who don't know this is my saw. I have never had a fully ported saw before. I have a dolmar 5105 stock that's the closest to a ported saw I have owned until now. I'm gonna have to take it easy at first on this saw. :)

Wow....that thing sure seems to spin up fast. A lot faster than my stock 084's.

Air filter plastic (base and covers) and chain brake handles are hard to find for those saws. A lot of those PNW guys throw it all away, run a green weenie, and cut the chain brake handles off.
