HD2, not my saw lol
Looks like it was cutting with a dull chain, possibly dead wood making an extreme amount of dust. Fine dust all over the starter cover also. Doesn't look like the filter was seated snug enough either.HD2, not my saw lol
No offense but just because people are pro users doesn't mean they know anything about taking care of a chainsaw. Case in point I'm a farmer and I try to take care of my equipment best I can guess I was raised that way but I have several neighbors that beat there equipment up don't service it and are just abusive to everything they own. Now one would think that kinda guy would never be able to make it but over the years they often do better then I do financially. So guess what I'm trying to say professionals can be really hard on stuff and still be extremely productive.for the record, that exact saw came through the buddy i was chatting with shop and posted the screen shots. it's a common issue. do you own a 661 bushwacker? professional cutter owned that saw so i can only assume he ran a sharp chain. then there's the fact that half of professional cutters don't know what a sharp chain is so who knows lol regardless, i can't even see where the sealing rings on the filter contacted the filter base so it's gotta not have much if any pressure on it from the AF cover.
