Need to see some pic's and know the current condition before anyone can state a value.
Prices seem to bounce around on those.
Also it starts right up and runs good. I also have a
Homelite 1130g does anyone
No about those?
That is 100% correct. I missed that because I was looking at red instead of yellow......its not a 797
It's a gear drive, look on the bottom of the crank case there will be numbers stamped that will give you the model.
Yes I am looking to sell or tradeLee can give you great advice on the 797. If you are looking to sell or trade the 1130 let me know.

Mark,66251 is the block number for the 797/Super 797 but your saw has no DSP valve (compression release) so something does not add up.
In any case, with the gearbox that was is not a 797, the 797 is a direct drive saw.
You may have a Frankensaw, but the lack of the DSP casts doubts on the block being a 797 unless someone has blocked off the port. Remove the cover from the muffler and see what is there.

Yup, I was, and found it relatively easy. Now building a 125g, that has a hangup ot two. Mostly making all of the bends and twists correctly with the oil pump rod. Making the front mount can be dine a few different ways and you need the wide chainbrake front handle & mounts.Mark,
You can have a 797 gear drive. You just have to be creative.
