Trying to locate a helper handle for a McCulloch chainsaw. Would prefer it fits a 4-25 saw.
I really love these big old saws and also am going to get a 73, 77, 4-30 and a 3-25 to sit along side the 49. Nick
carl, i've been know to take them switches apart and clean with electrical contact cleaner. sometimes it actually works. shouldn't be that hard to get it out.I found I can wiggle the stop slide side to side and it will shut down. I'll admit it don't appear to be one of Sears better offerings. Had it confused with a late model Poulan when I flipped over the cash.
Moving it along on C'list.
Thanks, it's a 250. That was pretty easy. Would 130 be on the low side for compression or is that what these older saws run?Look on the bottom of the crankcase, the model and serial number will be stamped there.
For example - 1-76
