Looks to be fashioned from a small barb fitting coupler with each end snipped off..., or certainly could be if not. Great idea whatever it is.

That little piece is turned on a lathe and allows the Homelite duckbill to serve as the tank overpressure valve seal as well as operate as the tank vent.

A slightly smaller barb coupler than the one pictured should also work. Just snip off the barbs. A bag full probably wouldn't cost much.

Take the old seals to any reputable bearing shop and they can match them. Measure the shaft at the seal if the rubber is bad to be sure.

Not sure if Walter did anything but for a Large Husky mount (D009) I just opened the chain tension adjust holes in the bar upwards until they were into the chain groove / slot in the bar. Pretty much making the adjust hole like they are in a D176 mount which needs no mods for the 10 series.

In one of Buckin' Billy Ray's vids he adapted a large mount Husky bar to one of his Macs by just threading the pin onto the adjuster bolt upside down for it to align with the hole in the bar and then cut a slot with a Dremel from the bar groove down to the hole for the oil passage. Can't remember which Mac, but I think it may have been one of his SP81's. Tried to locate the vid, but he only has 800 ~ 900 of em these days.

I just picked up this mac 250 for a welding job on a tunnel of a snow machine. I know its a good one since I built it many years ago . Still has the anemic 20" bar I put on it .. He said it was just to heavy! She finally came home ...

Drilled a 1/4" hole for tensioner
Dremel cutoff wheel slit groove down to original tensioning hole for oil circuit
Made barstud sleeves to reduce slop

3/8"extension coil springs make perfect spacers for 5/16" studs > 3/8" slots

Used 3/8" sst tubing drilled to 0.315"
Turned to .370" parted off 0.175"
