I have an Eager Beaver 3.7 which I am lead to believe is also a Pro Mac 610. Still having issues getting it to run & stay running. I believe it to be due to a carb issue.

Sounds about right, my 3.7 had the same issue and yes for the most part it and the 610 are the same.

Yeah mines working good still. Infact its actually adjustable even. 850 and 81

I have two 550s one is a S550. Both are runners and lots of compression. They’re fun to run and have tons of torque but VERY heavy as all large frame Macs are. The S550 is supposedly 103cc while the 550 is 99cc not sure how they squeezed 4more ccs out of the S model

I spent hours struggling with the oiler, in the end I discovered a flaw/damage in the crankcase bottom casting adjacent to the pick up nipple in the tank that was allowing air to enter the system. I was able to drill a hole, tap it, and install a small set screw to seal the passage so this one is now good to go. I'll pass it along to a local tree service guy to give it a good work out. He has several PM610's already that he really likes to use so this should be quite suitable for him.

Ported 7-10a still breaking it in first time in wood 24”bar new full house chain still running it rich I’m pretty happy with it. My dad had a 7-10a it’s what I learned to buck and fall with.

Actually just a bit small, 0.0003 to 0.0005" or so. I reused the wrist pin from the saw as the one they supply is clearly too small.

The LRB has one thick ring as opposed to two thin rings for the stock PM650.

Thats about the same as my measurements I think its good enough for a work saw.
