If that's a 300 series then yeah,I'm always interested in parts/parts saws.
Ive got a couple of half wraps that are also steel. It looks real good. 1 more for the list.
Nota necessity?!! You silly man...it is so. Lol
The slightly orange mac bar got the nod in the end.
Get the 250 Super up and running and you’ll really like it! I have a large mount 28” Husky bar with 3/8” chain in mine. I use it for large trees that need cut up. Still use the flat back McCulloch carb.If I made bars I would put the writing on one side upside-down so that whenever you flip the bar at least one side would be up the right way.
I went to a rim sprocket clutch so I could use 3/8” chain. The Husky bars need a little tweaking at the oiling holes.Think my super is a tilly from memory . Just needs some love. 28 be a nice size
Definitely need that! Not strictly a McCullch thing, but I bought this "surface preparation tool" from our local HF a few weeks ago. This unit is an absolute miracle tool for reburbishing chainsaw bars.

You have to get them out of the sunlight to really see how they look.

The 40 grit drum is just right for achieving the brushed finish, and I've done 10 or so bars with this wheel so far. At a cost of $30 per drum and figuring I'll get 8-10 more bars at least with this one making it a very cost effective proposition.

Then you might never know if you reversed the bar with each chain(ge). If I made bars I would put the writing on one side upside-down so that whenever you flip the bar at least one side would be up the right way.
