I have a few bits and pieces, that I do have, airbox covers, fuel tanks and driveside covers too. I think I have a PM80 P&C that might clean up. Someone has 1st dibbs on my spare PM80 motor. I might even have a spare full wrap.
If I don't tie one one Saturday, I'll get a good inventory and some pics.

Decibels are good. Need a muffler?

Does anyone have a SP60 parts saw? An oak log did a pile driver on mine.:cry::cry: I was bucking firewood, the stem I was cutting on was held up in the air at chest height. The branch that was holding it up gave out and I couldn't pull the saw out because the dawgs were digging in. First wreck I've ever had cutting.

Looks like it needs some Viagra. It's got a case of limp handle.

1-61, 1-62, or 1-63. 60's vintage McCulloch gear drive, 80 cc, look back a few pages I think you will find some additional discussion on the model.

i just bought my first one of these big yellow saws it is a 4-30a any info would be a big help im a stihl guy so this thing sticks out like a sore thumb but is kind of cool
thanks

Most should, you need the whole tank, front cover and all? I have some, we might be able to match wear patterns.

I don't think I would need the front cover but the tank itself has a gob of corrosion on the bottom that has eaten through. You could put a quarter through the hole easily. I tried patching it but it still leaks. I'll try to put up pics of it when I get it apart.

Mine doesn't have the oiler on the side of it.

This'n ran pretty good. In fact, I had to grab the handle hanging by the wire to shut it off after it was mashed. It was sitting there vertically under the oak with the bar pointing to the sun , just idling as sweet as could be.

I need the tank assy, and the bottom plate/brace to be sure. I also need the small stuff like kill switch, throttle trigger, and throttle latch. I've been looking for a clutch cover like that for another saw, I think this one is OK. The handle isn't bent, but it would sure look good with a full wrap. Let me know after you take inventory and the people who already have dibs get done.

I'll supply the kill switch. I have to pull the trigger stuff for Ron's project, so while I'm at it, I'll pull the kill switch for you. Hit me with a pm of your address and I'll try to get it in the mail tomorrow.

(the kill switch is the same, right?)

Put my new flywheel cover on the 81

It looks good, but somehow the cover is starting to oxidize, even with the clearcoat. I don't understand how it can do that. It should be sealed with the clearcoat. I guess I will just have to paint it yellow after it gets worse.
