Ahhhhhhh.....

That's why you were looking for complete auctions on feebay recently. So few of thse were sold, that it's hard to get a gauge of what they're worth in 'collectors' sales. I wager you'll get some interesting trade offers in PM's........................probably even exceeding the attractive offer I put up.

Not really, you see what Kyle threw out there.

Jacob, if you're gonna hang out in here, you're gonna have to get rid of that import saw avatar ya got.:D

Ahh come on!!!

That's the truth Steve. Jacob you need to put some North American Mag in your avatar pic (and right now mister)...............................or return to the hot chick pic. We don't make the rules........we just enforce 'em!:D

Its got German writing on it and everything!

Rules are rules... WonderBoy.

American Muscle saws only allowed here in the Mac thread. Same said for the Homelite thread... Poulan thread as well.

Now, where is the new avatar?

Just making sure that Eccentric don't spill his beer thinking he made the lowball offer of the day... :D

That's funny. Kyle made his "offer" while I was typing. I didn't see what it was until now. I think mine still is standing the lowball offer......but not by much.:jester:

American Muscle saws only allowed here in the Mac thread. Same said for the Homelite thread... Poulan thread is iffy, since most of the later (80's-90's) good models were in fact, made by electrolux, where ever the hell they made their saws. (Sweden?)

:monkey:

Now Kyle. I warned you about this. Don't go stepping in it (again) by flapping your gums about Poulans you don't know much about (again). Electrolux didn't make saws. They owned saw manufacturers. there's some Pioneer and Partner blood in some of the 80's-'90s Poulans. Some of the Poulan Pro saws have euro componants too. Don't go throwing stones at the green boys about that either. McCulloch and Homelite had similar dealings towards 'the end' too.

Back to sweeping, hauling trash, and making parts runs for you Shop Monkey!:taped:

Indeed true. Failure to remember that some company that buys up a some brand doesn't mean it's made somewhere else and so on.

For that matter, I will withdraw my faulty statement regarding the Poulans.

I haven't thrown stones at them since the last 'stirring the pot' incident... and don't plan to do such a thing again. And I'm here to learn. I don't venture into most of the other (good) saw brand threads all that much. Right now, at least. Trying to keep CAD at bay within reason while I'm busy dealing with TAD and UCAD... (Tool Acq. Disorder, Useful Crap Acq. Disorder)

Don't take offense to my posts... as for hauling trash, I did that all week last week, same said for sweeping. Cleaned out a whole entire loft of crap. Planning on parts runs pretty soon, however... and should make a scrap run soon as well. Need more room and corners to shove crap into...

alright dang it, knock it off you darn kids. Back to the Yellow channel.

Ill get hell for it! :D

Most likely will... hope Eccentric, MM, homlitejim, MarkH, Steve NW WI, and RandyMac are still up, cause I'm gonna go get me a bowl of ice cream and wait to see what kind of flames of death go on as a result of your post...

...Dangnabbit, homelitejim popped in before I got me bowl of ice cream...

I am thinking of trading off my 10-10 gear drive. What McCulloch saw would be equal in value for a good trade? I have no idea what it is worth and can't find where anyone has sold one in quite a while.

You may want to PM Mark H ... he has the only other one that I am aware of and may be able to help.

Got my 7-10A today

Here are some pictures of my 7-10A I got today. Its it great shape! I am going to have to replace the fuel line & filter but that's nothing. The previous owner had a 16" bar on it, but that won't stay very long. I am going with a 24".

My only issue with this saw is that it has the carb with only the idle adjustment screw. I really like having the ability to tune the carb, especially since I doubt the carb was designed with running 45:1 mix. Can I swap to a fully adjustable carb? What model would that be?

And here are the pics...

That is a good looking 7-10. Aaron should be along with the sdc carb # you need, I think he posted the #'s here in this thread if you look back a few 50 pages or so.
