Shop bling...

I also added a little more bling for the shop. I need to find another hanger that is wide enough to support it all the way out to the shoulders, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Real 60's style with the rally stripes, Nero collar, and short jacket length.

So you managed another BP-399 Mark good stuff It would be nice if a BP SSS 199 turned up than you would really have a rare bird

The BP- SSS 199 is a single cylinder BP engine and would make the SST 399 look common

As Eccentric noted, 650 or 660 with a top cover from a 450 or 550.

Following up on a lead from Philbert, I stopped in a shop today and picked up 3 saws (SP81, short cover 250, and an SP81 in pieces) and a pile of parts. The 250 has very good compression, the complete SP81 seems O.K.. Spent a goodly sum but ended up with 6 or 7 NOS pistons (2 of 92519), 2 NOS flywheel covers for the super series saws, 1 NOS black cover for the 200/300/400 type saws, NOS fuel lines for the front tank saws, anti-vibe mounts for the 10 Series saws, and some other miscellaneous parts + odds and ends of old McCulloch chain. I will try to get some photos up in day or two.

That recoil will not work without the bar installed, or a stack of washers to make up the thickness of the bar.

If that is not your problem, PM me with your e-mail address and I can send an IPL.

I also have a few parts for the recoil starters if you find something is amiss.

Check your dogs on the clutch. They become loose
after time and won't engage into the starter drive.
They can be tightened by peening the rivet.
