Over the years I've seen (and have quite a few examples) all kinds of McCulloch advertising stuff - ashtrays, lighters, cufflinks, tie tacks,bolo/western ties, golfballs, various sized metal or porcelain signs, wall clocks etc you name it but that marble thing is a first. Very nice. 👍
I think the marbles are reproductions, I have quite a collection here with many brands other than McCulloch and they all have pretty much the same appearance.

Ahh fair enough. It appears that the seller has a lot of these white marbles with different companies on them, so that is consistent with what you are saying Mark. Thought it was cool enough to throw a small bid at it and see what happens, will be a nice little what-not for the top of my dresser if nothing else.

FWIW there's also a glass flask on eBay right now too with a 10 series on it, also a printing block (like would be pressed into an ink pad then stamped onto paper) with the McC box logo.

Picked up this neat promo marble off eBay. Thought it was neat!

Years back I gave some things to Billy Ray Smith such as a bunch of patches, a "I've got beaver fever" T-shirt, a McCulloch belt buckle and a few other things. I wish I would've saved them a gave them to Mark cause I guess the belt buckle is rare. Everything was vintage as my father was a distributor in New York for McCulloch.
Sorry Mark. Billy did a special video unboxing.

I would have to go through them in more detail to confirm all the different brands but this is one that I already have a photo.

I think I have a couple of different belt buckles, this one is fairly common I believe.

This buckle is less common, the watch battery has died, and the lighter doesn't work...

This is a pretty neat keychain, I think that is supposed to be as 10 Series saw.

I have a lot more, but I'm waiting for the new building to try and create some way to display them all.

Got my first real taste of Mac power today. The 10-10S is running great! Think I got the high side dialed in nicely now. Throttle rod slipped out of the trigger a few times so need to re-address that, no biggie.

After my nephew’s birthday party, it was time to get back to the camp and work. We cleared an area for a swing on the other side of the pond at the camp. Mostly small stuff. Had a solid team of my wife’s grandmother as supervisor, my mother in law and father in law, my wife, and me. Father in law ran a little Echo this time and I ran the S, then I passed it to him for a while. Man the difference in the sound of those two!! For a chainsaw novice, this thing is an animal!

Dropped a dead pine by the pond, first chainsaw felling for me!

Great day today.

Good Morning,

I took my 125 / 101 kart saw out yesterday to play in the woods a little bit in hopes of getting over a case of the "winter blues." Unfortunately my saw was acting up and I was having trouble tuning it. . .after a fair bit of fiddling I determined that if I point the saw forward it runs lean and if I tip it back it runs excessively rich. Thinking it may have something to do with the oiler? Any thoughts?

Almost seems like it could be ingesting bar oil when tipped back and sucking air when tipped forward.

With help from Mark and Vinny I was able to get the manual oiler on my SP81E working again. The end of the pump cylinder had a hole in it from someone over tightening the starter/flywheel bolt. Happy to find Mark had a replacement housing. I got everything back together and nothing... 😕 no oil.
Mark gave me a suggestion to have gravity help me.
I put the screen above the oiler and filled the hose. Then gave it a couple pumps and the oil level at the screen went down. Did that again about 5 times and it started working. The oiler needed to be primed. I'll put the front cover back on and fill it 1/3 of the way and keep checking it occasionally as I put everything else back together and make sure it continues to work.
Hoping to post more success stories soon but I'm only able to work on it occasionally when I have time.

Colton - Start by checking your AV mounts and the connector (boot) between the cylinder and the airbox. If the AV mounts are way loose the boot may be torn causing your symptoms.

The automatic oilers are impulse operated off the pressure/vacuum in the crankcase. It is possible for bar oil to find its way into the crankcase if the gaskets are leaking and/or if the pump itself is badly worn. Unfortunately, to get to all the screws that hold the automatic oil pump on you have to removed the fuel tank or separate the oil tank from the saw. Since you need to check the boot anyway, taking the tank off is a good place to start.

I have AV mounts, connectors (boots), and oil tank and oil pump gaskets if you find any of those are at fault.
