I'd be concerned about constant 2-cycle through a 4-cycle if it had catalytic converters.
I feed my Ranger old mix but that's diluted into 18gal
Personally, a little 2T has to help the top end of 4-cycle engine and definitely can't hurt the injectors

It can plug up injectors if it’s not run a lot had to clean the ones in my keep bc it sat after running 2 stroke oil.
I don’t think good quality 2 stroke oil would gum injectors up. I have been wrong many times.
I’m personally talking about small 4 stroke equipment. Mower tiller. Transfer pumps. That kinda stuff

I’ve ran 50-1 in my little 22re because I thought it was possibly stale. 4 cylinder motor if you don’t know Toyota’s. Truck loved it. Rings were worn in that truck. Probably helped bump compression a tiny bit.
it used a little motor oil all the time. Rebuilt it recently. Gosh that thing was nasty under the head. Full of ash I guess is what that was.
so I guess any good Ashley’s oil would probably be better if you put it in small 4 strokes ?

After sitting for around 3 years not running it did some magic I’m guessing the tank is around 1/2 of my old 2 stroke mix and it’s a TBI set up.

I have a GM Vortec marine 350 with TBI injection in my boat, and I feed it a steady diet of oil in the gas (about a gallon per 80-gallon fillup), mainly to protect the injector and fuel system from occasional gasohol.
I wouldn't worry about a couple shots of 2T oil in the gas occasionally, LOL, catalyst or no catalyst.

Doesn't matter when snakes had to die for that oil...
A dead snake is a good snake
This one likes a bit more oil but not as volatile as two stroke mix

My experience with snake oil is this.. seafoam does very little and is what I consider a extra gentle cleaner, I wouldent waste it adding it to engine oil or the gas tank I only use it for inductions on well kept up engines before a tune up. Marvells mystery oil is what I consider a medium strength cleaner, I add it to the oil system a few hundred miles before changing it. If I know a engine is carboned up inside I will use it for a induction service esp on a ford 3v...it softens the carbon and breaks it down to mush, cleans piston crowns, rings, valve faces and can free up lifters...run the engine 30 min then change the oil! lucas or berryman added to the fuel tank at fill up to clean the injectors..a quart of 90% iso alcohol if you think you have (up to 10 gallons) of water saturated fuel.
Running 2 cycle oil in a 4 cycle automobile all the time I would get worried about gumming up valves/seats, plugging or carboning up 3 piece oil rings and oil return ports in the piston ring lands, carbon build up on exhaust valves, cat damage, 02 sensor damage, charcoal canister damage, and carbon build up on the plugs. If it separates or falls out of suspension it could clog fuel filters, injectors and foul plugs causing a no start. A non fuel injected air cooled small engine could possibly benefit

Why not try 200:1 or 300:1? I mean less lubricant is more better, right?
None of that snake oil crao does a damn thing but lighten your wallet.

I have a good day and that gave me the biggest chuckle. I need to be careful is my reply though as a bunch of my posts were recently removed due to being too political, off topic, and I guess just making too much fun of something. Now I understand why they were and all is good....Hopefully this will be OK. Let's see you ask if that includes politicians, lawyers, used car salesmen etc. Well yes and no.
#1 I have been a politician and will be again soon so hopefully not all.
#2 I have paid multiple lawyers more money than anyone can believe ( one just out right stealing $16,000 out of my account) so in that case YES
#4 After the amount I have paid lawyers and my need for a career change now I am seriously considering law school. I like to joke but I am serious about that as I have a good chunk of the education done.

Now on topic as for snake oil and additives. My father always believed in them. Should have bought stock in STP and vale medic I had a 2002 Dodge 3/4 ton which as many know are notorious for bad trannys. Reverse gear went out in mine, She did fine forward just watch where you park. In any event a guy was doing some dozer work for us and had a dodge that he swore he "fixed" the tranny with a name brand snake oil. Dad bugged me until I wasted money buying it and trying it. That truck ended up going through 5 transmissions. One of them did not make it home the 30 miles from the tranny shop before reverse was out again.

You try it and tell us how that works out for ya....
Try some kerosene or diesel to flush your engine...The way I recommend their use they do what i claim.
