I want to know if anybody has had any exp/use with this model chipper...any imfo would be greatly appre. I'm pretty sure its a morbark busy beever model 100...I think its 1989. The original engine blew up or something happened.it now has a 19.5 hp onan on it...it works and runs well....have'nt stuffed anything threw it though but the hydro feed works and the disc spins smoothely...I need to reweld the motor mounts on the engine
What does everyone think its worth...and all imfo would be appre.

I think it orignally came with a 24hp onan that was blown up, and the owner of the junk yard put a 19.5hp onan on it and took the knives and had them sharpened...well a couple days later one of the the guys that works at the junk yard bumped into it with a loader and broke the engine mounts and dented the fender(see pics)..I ratchet strapped the engine to the frame and made sure everthing works....I can weld the mounts and fix the fender/sandblast/repaint...Do you all think its worth 1000.00$....even if the 19.5 is underpowered for a couple hundred bucks I can bolt a 27hp kaw/liq cooled w/ 15hrs on it for 900.00$ ...... or a 25hp kohler w/450hrs for 100.00$

Where are you finding those deals?

Just different people / places. I have a landscaping biz so I'm always looking for small engines whether I need one or not.

i think you should shop around equipment is cheap right now. My buddy in manchester,md just bought a used bandit for $4000.00 12inch machine with 80 horse dsl. good machine or you could just call that guy who ground 30+ stumps on sullivan rd. lol

chipper

I had someone GIVE me one that is larger capacity/better condition. So, I wouldn't exactly BUY that machine, but if you have it already and just want it to work, then bare bones it. Or just find something better...
