Ms 261??

I have been looking on ebay for a small, cheap chainsaw, and have come across this auction:

Can someone tell me if the 2x MS 261s advertised are in fact 261s? I have never heard of this sa before, and need some advice. A search on this site has revealed Husqvarna 261s, but no Stihls.

There's no such thing (yet) as a MS261 !

one of them sure looks like an 046 to me.. top left. top right looks like an MS361

These are just the new versions of the 026/260.

Maybe the MS261 will replace the 260 some time, but it hasn't happened yet.
There are no indications that it will happen in the near future either, as it is with the 441 (this year) and then 661 (maybe next year)......

I also think that one is a 361, and the last one is larger and has the old style caps.....

i´m 99% sure the top left is a 460! the top right sure is a 361! the other two is 260´s! 261 does not exist!
