Nah, I wouldn't say that. I'd say 5 hp is pretty close to actual. It "feels" that way at least. A saw that'll pull a 24" easily, and a 28" when it needs to...sounds just shy of a 440 to me. The numbers would line up.

I thought all Stihl figures were bhp and assumed a knowledgeable source would use the same scale. BTW, Stihlusa rates the 361 at 4.4bhp, and I rounded up...same finger, different wind.
