I had a 441C and now replaced it with a 500i. The difference in performance was breathtaking to me. And the 500i is lighter.
Just got it today. Will wait until I have time to set it up and test it out.

How are you going to be able to sleep tonight knowing there's a new saw begging to be started. Mine was cutting wood 5Just got it today. Will wait until I have time to set it up and test it out.
If I were you I’d be all over that 066. Don’t see them that clean very often. Thing looks like it just came off the showroom floor.Pictures of the 3 saws I'm looking at. What do you guys think?
doubt its real.. I can buy that tag on eBay... Better look for those stihl parts numbers...If I were you I’d be all over that 066. Don’t see them that clean very often. Thing looks like it just came off the showroom floor.
Dang good saw.Why does everyone like the 500i? What makes it so special? I've never ran one. I just don't like the idea of the added electronics on a saw. Especially after I've read so many posts about people having issues with the solenoids going bad on various newer saws. Plus they're what, $100 a pop?

Could have, not could of.Any opinions on a MS661 non mtronic carb version? Found one basically new, for $1000. It's couple hundred more then the 461 at $750. I also found a good deal on a clean MS660 for $800. But I could of sworn I heard some say they prefer the 660 over the 661? Why is that? Also I'm wondering, did the MS660 have the flippy caps? Or were they screw caps only? Thanks
It's got an oem flag on it. It could of be an older gentleman who bought it for a project, used it once, and never used it again. I'm definitely getting those vibes from the guy.doubt its real.. I can buy that tag on eBay... Better look for those stihl parts numbers...
The pictures you really want are of the piston and cylinder; looks don't cut wood.Pictures of the 3 saws I'm looking at. What do you guys think?

The 088 on the right looks pretty good. This is the state of my 461 when I picked it up. Honestly, I'm just feeling lazy and don't feel like rebuilding it.
