Yes make sure you use at least 89 octane. I run 93 in my saws. 87 octane makes it run hotter and makes it harder to start. The new saws are made to run on atleast 89 octane.

Well, we don't have octanes lower than 95 here, 92 some places in Southern Norway - but I only use the Aspen Alkylate premix anyway .....:greenchainsaw:

- it can sit in the tanks for a year or more, with no ill results - and even if it is 1:50, it works great in saws specked for 1:25.......


It is better for the saw, the user, and the environment, than pump fuel mixed with two-cycle oil.
