What is a 5 passenger snowmobile?

The old Subaru. Which putted out through the wind to a friend's house, then putted back down, around some people in the wrong lane attempting to play wrecker and bring up another large vehicle that was over the side. Subarus are good at putting along. It'll also drive over branches like a pickup.

Cooking salsa? I don't cook it just use tomato, onion, garlic, actually I don't really know how to make it but I know the misses doesn't cook it.

I can it. Then it is ready for the armageddon predicted on another forum. Can't have mayhem going on around you without salsa!

It'll be fun today. I had a heck of a time getting INTO the subaru yesterday. All the doors were frozen shut. Locks freeze, everything because we had a lot of rain before it all happened. Gots to remember the lighters. I dug out my Wisconsin/Eastern Warshington clothing collection.

Help, I'm having trouble getting enthused. The wind is blowing, the windows in the house are icy, the male model roommate woke me up during the night. Apparently we were either in some sort of danger or he wanted his water dish filled so barking was required....well, I will get going. :buttkick:

Clean the door rubber gasket with a paper towel then wipe a thin coat of petroleum jelly on it, then the door will open like a charm in freezing weather.

Alcohol will unstick frozen locks. But watch the paint if a new vehicle as it may damage the paint. Alcohol also works to make rear view mirrors so you can see what you are about to back into.

I tell ya, some of the fellas on here from Canada, see these temps every winter... In fact, this cold front came from there... I'm 75 miles away from the border.

No wonder those guys like hockey. ;)

Sorry for the cold blast - its only -21 C this morning with a steady 25kph wind (-6 F / 16mph). Had about 40cm new snow Friday - went skiing Sat/Sun - cold is good for thinning the lift lines and the snow was so light it was like cold smoke comming off your skis. Looks like bluebird skys and cold for the rest of the week.

Nothing to be sorry about... Unless you're controlling the weather. :buttkick:

;)

I hear ya about the skiing though... I haven't went in about 5 years. It's turned into a dang rich man's sport here... Gotta sell a kidney to buy a lift ticket.:chainsaw:

Looks like we're in the negative temps for the next ten days. :(

Making salsa this time of year? I bet you are behind on your Christmas shopping to. Salsa season ended about the time we got the killer frost that wiped out the garden. It is Fudge and Pie season now.

When the weather looks like this there is only one thing to do. Roll it up. Make snow forts, snowmen or if you insist on being politically correct then make a snow cat, snow rocket, or even a snowwoman, and have a snow ball fight.

Right now it's 14* and a touch of wind. Last night brought us 14+" of snow and this morn at 4:30 it was 6*. This snow is strange, it's so light and powdery that the wind is just blowing it away. The boy has dumped out 4, 5gallon blocks of ice from the dogs bucket so far and measured the thickest ice on the cow/goat trough a 4,3/4".

Just came back from town getting flats fixed. I think the local law enforcement is bored. Of all things I saw them loading up two kids. The kids made a huge snow sculpture in a local parking lot. The sculpture was a great likeness of the lower male anatomy. If I had a photo it would be here, those kids did a great job with pretty good detail, must have taken them hours to do this. The local lesbian activists called in the complaint and are going to try and press charges. I also know one of the 6 LEOs that wee there and he is not happy about having to do this. I think them kids are gonna get shafted.

Oh well, tonight is expected down in the lower single digits and more snow tues night and wed.

If your out workinging in this be safe and take appropriate precautions.

Geeesh. All they had to do was wait till it was done and then run into it with their car!!! :chainsaw: Or kick it over like the bullies do. What a waste of public money. Stupid people....
OK, Rant over with.

Costco has some kind of snowball shooting gun. It says it will shoot up to 80 feet. The package is very careful to only mention shooting at cardboard targets. I'm thinking of the carnage that might could erupt at the Christmas gathering and want to get one of the snowball guns so I'll be armed. One of the recipients is a homicide detective.

Oh if I could control the weather........some would love me...others :chainsaw:

As for skiing, a season pass is still the best way to go - I usually get 30-40 days in so the cost per day is better in long run. And ski swaps are the way to go for gear - lots of people around here like to have new stuff every year and I don't mind their hand me downs.

Snow almost to the valley floor, chains required everywhere in the mountains, lots of rain.   Sorry, Burvol...we'll try to keep it down here as much as we can.

I rolled out of my Crummy this morning and was notified that it was 8 degrees in town, not sure what it was up there. It hit a balmy 15 today. East wind that probably blew 10-15 all day, no sh!t!!!! Mercy me, it was rough. Two cold days and the sap is already like glass, unforgiving and rough to get through. Thank God for full comp. I am looking forward to tommorrow, it's suppose to be around 3-5 up there all day!!!

That is a 9' 2" rocket with a fort attached that held off a full on frontal attack from the older boys. The younger boys and I did not fair so well from the girls they were a bit on the sneaky side.

Someone seems to have there mind in the gutter. Just because it is made out of snow, does not mean it has to be part snowman.

The snow was a lot more powdery than usual and I noticed, because I got in the middle of it, that it was blowing off the trees in a white cloud of misery.
I'm staying home, nothing much will be going on. Maybe try to make something out of this.
