Hi everyone. I'm new to the board.

I have several old chainsaws including:
Montgomery Wards/Powr Kraft model TMC 24085A
Homelite 150Automatic
Homelite XL- UT#10618A
Craftsman 2.0 14"

My question is - I stripped the drive sprocket on the MW/PK saw and need to find a replacement. Anyone know where to get one? I've tried eBay, no luck.

Matt: Montgomery Ward model numbers aren't very useful to most people, as MW sold saws from many manufacturers. If you can post a pic of your saw, someone might be able to pin down whar it really is (Remington, McCulloch, or whatever...) and then you can id the right sprocket.

OK, I think it might be a remington

Galde,
I took several pics. I had seen this before but forgot about it: the bar had "Remington" on it.

Here is a link to my Yahoo pictures site:

if the link doesn't work, leave me a PM and I can email the photos, or I can post a couple on the board (but they're 1Mpixel in size)

I'm speechless.

Matt: I think you have a Remington PL-5. If 3/8" pitch, the sprocket is Herr part No. N146-A7, if .404 pitch, it is Herr part No. N146-B7. Both are available from Manufacturer's Supply (800-826-8563). The 3/8" sprocket is also available from Laser. #42112 for the open spur type, or #42177 for the rim & drum type (always my preference if available) The Laser order no is 800-824-8521.

Thanks Galde.
I have the sprocket off and a part # is on it "A23.387"
This sprocket looks to be pressed on (or part of) the clutch drum.

Simonizer...speechless???
