New 038 tankhousing rear handle assy.?

I recently asked an ebay seller if his new 038 rear handle gas tank assy. was genuine stihl and made in germany or U.S. His reply was Stihl no longer makes them and he didn't state where these were made. I assume they are from china. Has anybody any experiance with these and can tell me more about them?
And is it true stihl doesn't make them anymore ?

Stihl does make them, and still makes the saw (not for the USA), but you probaly wouldn't want to pay the price... like $180..
