i just orderd a new AMP "aluminum" figure of eight from baileys and i was wondering why this one has a higher breaking strength and cost less then the petzle or CMI ones with a lower breaking strength???? mine is aluminum and breaks at 9,000 lbs with a safe working load of 900 lbs.
