Here is shot of my new lanyard setup. It is the new cmi pully that is connected directly to the side dee of my butterfly. The cmi is sliced open then placed on the dee and then braze closed. Not problem concerning the strength of the altered pulley since it is just to aid in tending the purssic.

It is way smoothe, super sensitive, positive action.

In case I didn't mention before or is you are wondering the black clip on the side conects to my Zubat scabard also very nice. You just have to take the scabbard appart and sand off the pin so it floats freely.

Yeah like me !! You looking for the video don't go anywhere

nope I am right handed and keep things I use more on the right like the chain saw. The hand saw goes on the left cause I reach across like a gun slinger. I used to like my lanyard on the right side but it would alway get snagged on my chain saw. I new liked the weight of the chainsaw on my left. I smarten up and switched my lanyard to my left, sure it took some getting used to I for the longest time looked on my right for it. After many years now I am used to it.

Hmmmm...

I'm right handed, and I keep my chainsaw on the left, and my lanyard and handsaw on the right. I couldn't imagine it any other way.

Very good move.... That's what i call thinking outside the box... May have to try that one over here!

And I like the handsaw and lanyard on the right... chainsaw on the left

I wasn't sure if I was gonna share the new idea or not. After all my off the wall threads I figured I owed you all a real genuine contribution. Now how many of you all do I need to teach how to braze aluminum.

You could possibly use a small twisted clevis with the internal pulley wheel, so you do not have to cut and braze a pulley.

What fun would that be not to be able cut up gear and get to use a torch? It makes it more unique.

Do mean someting like this straight clevis I have here on some T900?

Yea that would seem to work fine, maybe not as fluid as a pulley though.
