Got this PP305 a few weeks ago. The ebay seller said it was new but the dealer robbed a few parts off of it but it was never ran.
The seller also said he put new fuel lines on it and got it started. They had the vent line from the tank running to the impulse nipple on the carb. Dont know that he really got it started that way. :hmm3grin2orange:
The impluse line was complety deteriorated and missing so that was replaced. The missing parts were minor, chain adjuster screw assy, one lower antivibe mount, bucking spike and a few screws. Poulan still had all the missing parts so it was easy fix.
The bucking spike I had was a used one as well as the bar but I figure since it had been started I will go ahead and run it some.
Other then a couple scuffs on the air filter cover and the gas stain on the spark plug it looks like its 1989 again and it just came out of the box.
These were some very good saws, all pro construction, decent weight and good power and speed. Whats not to like?
