Got this PP305 a few weeks ago. The ebay seller said it was new but the dealer robbed a few parts off of it but it was never ran.

The seller also said he put new fuel lines on it and got it started. They had the vent line from the tank running to the impulse nipple on the carb. :dizzy: Dont know that he really got it started that way. :hmm3grin2orange:

The impluse line was complety deteriorated and missing so that was replaced. The missing parts were minor, chain adjuster screw assy, one lower antivibe mount, bucking spike and a few screws. Poulan still had all the missing parts so it was easy fix.

The bucking spike I had was a used one as well as the bar but I figure since it had been started I will go ahead and run it some.

Other then a couple scuffs on the air filter cover and the gas stain on the spark plug it looks like its 1989 again and it just came out of the box.

These were some very good saws, all pro construction, decent weight and good power and speed. Whats not to like?

Awesome score there mark. As you know I have a 2800 (in craftsman gray) 2 335s and a 330. These saws are fun to run, easy to handle, balance well and are a $600+ saw today.
Im headed out Saturday to an old timers house where I got my 2 335s and Ill buy 2 more if he has them.

I buy my K041 16's 3/8 050 without printing right from poulan online. They are just black with replaceable tips.

My 305 never looked that good but she sure cut.

That's good info right there. Got a link?

I've got a thin ring 3000 top end to put on my craftsman branded saw. It's probably gonna get an intake block and a WJ though. ;)

I took my muffler modded 3000 to the Iowa GTG and everyone who ran it came back with a big grin on there face asking who ported it. :hmm3grin2orange:

Heck it weighs less and runs right beside my Dolmar 5100. So much for the new super duper 50cc saws. :hmm3grin2orange:

Jeremy, seems the PP335's show up more often then the 3000's or 305's. There thin ring 54cc saws on the same chassis, you might like one of them as well.
