You getting it?

If not I might be depending on how much $ and whats missing.

Yeah, it needs the clutch assembly, air filter/cover, top cover and bar and chain. He may have some of the parts. I found this guy while doing a search for a kawasaki dealer (buying a new backpack blower). The guy deals from his house and was a mac and poulan pro dealer. Still has a ton of parts and the best part is he lives down the street! Im also gonna get a nice 3800 and 46cc farmhand. And he says he has more stuff buried. Pretty excited.

Very good Joe, nice finds.

Do yourself a favor when looking for those parts. Alot of them are still in the Poulan system. The clutch is like $7 and change while the carb/filter cover is less then $4.

The cyl cover is NLA though....

Thanks for the info Mark. I got to talking with him this afternoon, saying how a guy I know picked up an NOS 305, and how I was looking for one when he said he had one! Hes looking at my 2101XP and one of my walk behind blowers. Hes gonna dig out a bunch of saw sand work out a price. The 3800 was nice too, that one is only missing the ign switch.

You got it:msp_thumbup: I cant wait to see what hes got. The guy is cool but what a mess! No idea how he finds stuff! Ill get some pics and PM the details.

Save some scraps for your eccentric friend out west too Joe. The non-PP yeller stuff won't interest Mark anyways....

Edit:

i just got to thinkin' (dangerous) and was wondering why these PP dealers were stripping new saws (in their inventory) for parts that were surely still easy and cheap to get from their supply chain instead of just ordering those parts. Pulling a few bucks worth of parts and making a saw not available to sell doesn't make sense to me. It'd be one thing to pull a part off a saw to help an impatient customer, then immediately order a replacement part to put that new saw back on the sales shelf. Stripping a saw and leaving it that way is nuts. Joe's new saw makes four PP saws recently discussed here that were stripped like that....
