The 357xp is rated at 4.4 hp everywere I think, so it is close. Lobo lives in Canada, and the 361 is rated at 4.6 hp everywere except in the USA (I think the muffler is the reason).TonyM said:There's still more than one choice. Efco 962 is a good saw. The 962 has not been tested by DLG, but the 56cc version weighted .1 kg more than the MS361. I think I have read complaints about the anti-wibe system and filtration on the Efco saws. I have never touched one, though.
Oh, I know, we are really into splitting hairs. The point is that there is quite a weight difference between the saws with about 4.5 hp, and those with closer to 5.5. You can get the weight of the stronger ones, without the power (6400, 365), but not the other way around.
Dolmar 7300 and 7900 has substansially more than 5.5 hp, without any weight penalty.
