i think that the world is big enough for 2 top arbo boards; and at that thought, mebbe that is anemic for what it could be. i think that it is best that both boards remain vital ports of exchange, and that does take folks keeping both alive by using them.
i think it is best to try to be better to make a differance, rather than put somehting else down, just to make it seem like there is a differance. i think TB purposefully has a different flavor, all persons being welcome, but more tree focussed i think, less other stuff.
i think Mike walked on board with these same people at ISA without problem, but is just being polite including himself as a begginner, cuz MB would have never made it
!
It does seem that the last time this board came up over thar negatively like this, it was in referance to people being put down etc. And people were there at TB partially cuz they din't have to put up with that, yet here we are...
Climbing champ Mark Chisolm is partners in TB so probably seeks to develop his own board etc. quite fairly. And does enough by leading the pack, giving promise and openness to what we might possibly do/reach for. It is the other partner Tom; that lays all borders aside; brings life saving info for climbers, trees and the like to anyone that will listen, even forsaking his own for everyone else to go where the volume is. i've often thought that is above and beyond what most would do. But, then i guess there is always something positive going on, so why bother looking at that..........
Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr something like that!
:alien: :alien:
edit: Ya know i came in here before to congratulate and Thank Mark for leading the pack, expanding the science, being our racecar to set other things by; all the experiments he has prolly done to be better, that have trickled out and down to us. But somehow got sidetracked by a different force. Thanx Mark!
i also take notice that in
Murphy gets Published Thread ; a certain negative personality of putting others down is noted by another organization in this same narrow field.
