On top of all that, they are metal bodied, American made saws that are very cheap to buy used, are easy to work on and still run great with minimal tinkering after 20 or 30 years!

What else can you ask for?

Well,

I could ASK for a 5'8" 130 lb redhead with big hooties to come in her bikini and help me cut firewood................but I'm pretty certain it won't happen!!!

5' 8"? You better send that one up here, at least I could look her in the eyes, while you could only look straight into her...

Wait a minute, I get it now... :hmm3grin2orange:

He better enjoy it while he can. Few more years that's all he'll be able to do is look at it.

missed it!!!

missed out on that husky 23 compact... thought i had her in the last 3o secs some one scooped back in LOL .... all good i will get me a mint one... maybe a 225 pp with low low hours......

What I was getting at was what the other cylinder is from. I assume it's from a 5200. I've never paid attention to any difference either. I'll have to check that out. Maybe next spring when it warms up. I thought they'd be the same since they had the same part #. Looks like they would have changed the # like they did the piston. :msp_confused:

Steve, I dont know what that is suppose to fit, that came out of a really, really old stock and I'm assuming its for a 5200 as its clear it wont fit the 8500 and like you I didnt expect that difference because of the part numbers being the same.

Worse case this cyl could be used with some carefull fin trimming.

How many of those little saws do you have now.

ummm im not sure ... none that say husqvarna that are really a poulan.....:hmm3grin2orange: think i have 14 s25da style ones and 12 micro style.... i could be off by 2 or 3 that are buried in the shed.....

Great work on the 8500 Mark. You clearly did some nice prep wark as that paint job looks new!

Hi guys just butting in, i brought a Poulan 3400 countervibe from a swap meet here in OZ a few months ago.Got her started up ok, Have decided to give her a bit of a birthday changing fuel lines etc.. The one thing i cant figure out is how long? and where the fuel tank breather hose goes?? I pulled the old lines off, well they just kinda fell apart to be honest. I still have the old breather line but im not sure if its the right lenght etc. Any help is appreciated. i can post photos if needed.

I agree Bob, Someone did a real nice job on that early 3400, even though the color is a bit off. Funny too, some of the comments. "Very rare saw, never seen one before".:D Probably never seen a S25DA either. One statement that always makes me queasy.." I dumped some gas in it".:msp_ohmy: When made by someone, not familiar with saws.
