Oil line fixed me right up Mark, thanks again for the link and your tutelage.

I now have a small (in the truck always) saw….to cut fallen trees off the roads.

It’s not pristine by any means….but with the new parts (cylinder, ring, fuel line, filters, plug, oil line, crank seals, bar, chain) it should be in good shape for a while.

Are the six rounds in the background incase it did not work out.
 
I'm usually not a fan of painted bars,
[ just keep in mind that i'm lifelong fugitive from the fashion and decorator police ]
But somehow Flintknapper's micro just looks sharp.
must be the amount of red on the black bar and then the black loop handle together.
 
It's a good bet that those on eBay are OEM. They are all set for use in a BP cylinder, too. You may want to send him a message to ensure, though.

I think CPR was the member here that found the K&N filter setups ...

Been "distracted" from the saws.

I have yet to unearth the filters and knob, all I found was some bases through a Target dealer around here and had them order me a couple.
 
The 111 came in a case w/ 3 chains. Its the one i'm least familiar with. Knew it was a little Poulan due to the lay out and the Made in Shreveport, LA. Looks to be fairly low hours.

These saws had been for sale for over a year @ a junk yard. I'm sure the pallet started w/ a bunch of creme and orange saws that went quick. I'm happy w/ these, however!

If you want that little one to ever run right, you will end up very familiar with it as it will more then likely need a complete teardown to seal it all up, replace lines etc.

There not my favorite Poulan although I have to admire them for there place in history as they were quite the new thing when they came out.

Yep. I like the way they run, but they're not the most fun to work on. Most of the PITA factor comes from the oiler systems. They're still far preferable to a mini-mac as far as serviceability is concerned.

You're going to want the Shop Manual for that series. Pay close attention to the details covering keeping the conrod from sliding to one side (when the cylinder is removed)................or you'll be chasing down rollers...
 
So, even if its only fuel lines, still a pain?

Fuel line is a moderate PITA on these. Not too bad, but not as easy as a Micro. The auto oiler pulse line runs from the crankcase into the oil tank (through the bottom of the tank) and is where the real fun lies. That line decays with time and requires just about a full teardown to R/R. The manual oiler pump bodies are plastic and sometimes fail too...
