I am changing from a spur to power mate sprocket and rim. I have the parts in hand. When I was looking at it today I realized that the instructions inside the box were less than clear. I hav the washer and bearing in place. Inside the new sprocket is a raised area, do I need to use the large washer that was behind the clutch with this sprocket?

I don't remember for sure which one it was that needed the washers swapped around but I don't think the 3400 does.

The IPL shows the same orientation with the washers for a rim drive and a spur.

Repped you for the quick reply thanks

Tim, correct me if I'm wrong, but I was in on this right? I have not heard any more about it since we talked.

Not a big deal though either way.

Ohiogregg was you up at Norwalk last weekend. Just going by pic.

Yes Kevin, I was, my first time there, so don't know what it looked like in the past. Sure is a super clean, nice place they have there. Just to bad everything is so darn expensive. :msp_sad:

Or maybe its just I'm so darn cheap..:dizzy:

4200 -> needs the washer swap + a spacer washer

I hate spurs if you run different chains and bars and also when the wife wears them to bed.

Thanks Tim and Dave, PayPal sent.

Went out to my garage today and dug out my square grinder, chain vice and some other tools that I used for sharpening. I was going crazy not having it available to use.

I have to still put in a 50amp 220v breaker and then wire up a plug and then I can start tig welding again.

I know this moving and getting a house built takes time but some things I just gotta have.

Tim, sorry about the full in box. I've corrected that if you'll please try again.

Gregg,

Times have changed for sure.

At the Spring nationals at NHRA National Trails Columbus Ohio. I remember back in early 80's we used to back the truck up to the fence stopping us right before return lane track area ( I think it all covered with stands now). Put coolers under truck full of whatever was needed and we sat in the lounge chairs in the back of the truck. :D Good Times......

S25cva

Anybody got the link to the fix on the vent cap fix on this S25CVA. It's squirting gas when I rev it up. I'm assuming maybe Mark covered that somewhere but I can't locate it.

Thanks,

Gerry

One way rubber duckbill up in there. Look up in the cap, pry that ring disk out, unhder there. You might could score one from a used trimmer or something. Old one fell off or is dissolved or cracked, etc.

good luck with not letting us pay the postage. We are all in this together... :) PayPal sent...:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:
thanks guys

That was pretty much my thought when I sent payment. Glad I wasn't alone in that thought. :D

All of the Poulan 25's I've acquired are missing the duckbill valve in the cap. Order a few new ones and replace it.

Small poulans XXV, 1800, 2000, 2300 etc

Hi Folks I've been wondering if anyone has done a thread on this series of small saws? The different specs, advantages, disadvantages, options, preferences ans maybe even the time lines. I for one would be very grateful and interested as I have several and I'm not sure where they fit.
Warm regards,

Lee
