Up and over. Unbolting the upper right end of the handlebar lets you move it for more clearance.
We all kicked in and built a still. It's located in Canada as the gov't here doesn't care if it's for personal consumption. I just finsihed mailing out the 1st samples to everyone. I hope it's good as I have 4000 gallons of the stuff.
You also missed out on a shared buy of some material to make Poulan 3400 - 4000 and their associated newer brother saws oil pump diaphragms which are becoming very dfficult to find.
If your 3400 doesn't pump oil, let me know and I will make and mail you a diaphragm.
Unbolt the handlebar at the top/right mount. Then you can move the handlebar out of the way.
Thanks Eccentric. its all back together now. what is a nice shiny 3400 worth if he offers it to me?

Well it depends. I'd say $100 is fair though I've seen some go for more. Sold a 3700 on Ebay that only brought $77, which surprised me. Guess its the luck of the draw. If you can get it for less, great.
yes but remember, he has partners he has to share it with...........
Completely went through this 5200 for a fella.
Went to try it out and video it and promptly cut into a large screw in the log with it. :msp_sad:
Put another chain on it and tried it again and cut though a fence staple in a different spot in the log. :bang:
Oh well, at least the saw runs great!!!

Thanks for the heads up. We'll always run your saws first when I'm over!

Got it back together but still don't feel everything is right. First saw still runs with the Lo needle closed. As I mentioned a while ago it holds pressure great but won't hold vacuum. Somewhere it's leaking but I can't find it. Seals are new and even with grease applied to them it still leaks vacuum somewhere. Guess i'll have to tear it apart and try again to find vacuum leak.

Bob it sounds to me like you got more of a carb problem then a vacuum problem.
