Just ordered a bb 372 piston from Baileys for for my 475. Curious to see if I'll need a gasket.

Still check your squish etc even though you should be ok. Never know about afm pistons and if the specs change.
You'll get alittle more intake duration, which IMO is a good thing on my saw the way she runs.

Mine was.

475 oem piston

52mm
top of pin hole to crown 16.75mm
height 42.65mm
pin 12mm

BB372

52mm
top of pin hole to top of Piston 16.75mm
Height 42.5mm
Pin 12mm

Per Baileys specs there is no diff. Between your big bore specs and there NWP kit.

Poulan 4000

To All,

Anybody in need of parts for a Poulan 4000, just saw a local classified add that someone has one for sale.

The add reads:
Commercial grade heavy duty Poulan 64 cc chainsaw - great powerful motor for other uses (go cart) - yes it runs or if u have another parts machine - u can make a great saw from the two - needs a few parts to be a chainsaw again - namely plastic throttle lock is broken
Circa 1985-9

Let me know, It's getting harder to get parts for these.
Ottawa, Canada

Need a chainbrake if it has one.

if it cost to much to ship to Texas have it shipped to me in Michign.....we are just across the river......I would like a 4000.... :msp_w00t:

Yes you would Steve. I really like mine. If you get it let me know what parts you need for it. I have spares of most everything for these saws (except P/C's and the 4000/PP375-395 specific AF and starter bits).

Does anyone happen to have the IPL for a Sears Best Craftsman Chain Saw 3.3, model 358.351200,
or know which Poulan model it is?

I haven't been able to locate a downloadable manual for this exact model, & the P&C parts numbers I'm finding in my Poulan 330 & 3300 IPLs don't match the parts numbers I'm finding at Sears Parts Direct.

This saw is an feePay "sleeper" that might turn out to be a $$ nightmare.

Chris,
Check your PMs.

Chris,

The IPL at ereplacement appears to be the same as the one at Sears Parts Direct, neither seems to be downloadable. The difference in parts numbers between Craftsman & Poulan IPLs has me puzzled, but I might not be checking the correct Poulan model IPL.

Just picked these up, yesterday

Got the whole package for $125. Even got an anti vibe micro, Craftsman, in a box...disassembled.

Both the 4000s start and run. The guy said he couldn't get the Skil running.

Try looking at a PP336 IPL to see if it is the same.
