yea but that is what i have a supply for and they are almost identical to the 530003792, they use the same filter cover # 34032These filters go to the 4200-5200 series saws.
I think I am down to needing a bolt for the front handlebar (one of the 2 underneath the saw) and an air filter. I have one in a box, but it is back in VA.
Kevin, you still need parts off the Echo 452?
I also try to use the original felt type when I can.the big original ones with the felt #530034104

Tim I'm beginning to wonder if any "real" 3400's were ever sold up there in the GWN. Seems that every "3400" you fellows north of the border unearth turns out to actually be a 3700, 3800, or 4000 in sheep's clothing...
I am still searching a 4000 in whatever form it comes to me. I'm always hoping it will be a 3400 XP. 4000's rarely come up for sale and hardly ever near me. There is one for sale within an hour right now but the price is $265. It's been repainted the wrong color, the spike is wrong and I don't see a side port on the muffler. I'm not sure if that port was there on all of the 4000's or not. If I'm going to pay that kind of money it needs to be original and in really good condition.
Anyhow, it is always a pleasant surprise to pick up a low priced saw and find out you got more than you bargained for on the upside.
Funny about the Mastercraft. It came with an Oregon 18" 0.50 ga Power Match bar in good shape and one of those booger Vanguard chains.
The guy calls and leaves me a message that he really didn't intend to sell the bar with the saw as it was worth $50 - $60 and would I bring it back so he could use it on his new little Stihl that he bought. The bar is D176. I phoned him back to tell him to whatever but by then he realized it wouldn't fit.
I would have called him back ok, but just to tell him to go pound sand up his ***
Interesting to hear about the bore size on that one. Would love to see the IPL for that saw.
There was a DIRTY 4000 (missing the clutch cover) on feebay yesterday. Starting bid was something like $15............but the shipping was around $80 to me. Put it in my watch list. Was gonna contact the seller to see if we could work out more reasonable shipping. An hour or so later the auction had ended (guess I didn't look at the ending date/time) with one bid. Must have been a very short listing, as I'd just gotten notification of a Poulan 4000 listing in my emails that day.
The description was very vague, with lots of 'wiggle room' for the seller to use later if the buyer is not happy. I also found his comment about the manual oiler assinine and irritating. Seller also has a less than stellar recent feedback rating. All his stuff looked crusty, like it was just drug out of a dank barn. I wasn't willing to pay close to $100 on a roached 4000 (even though the external parts looked good under the grime) as I already have a 4000 and a PP375. Somebody took the risk. Will see if it's somebody here....opcorn:

I "think" technically, the ones on the left are pistols...and the ones on the right are revolvers. But, the terms get used interchangeably by most folks when talkin handguns. Just like some think Stihl's & Husqvarna's are real chainsaws. When we all know REAL chainsaws were GREEN and made in Shreveport La.
Gregg,
Happy New Year guys and Gals, this picture was taken straight off the truck from picking the items up.
The saw tree trunk carving is a one of a kind done by a saw carver, the sign is like brand new but 30 years of grime on it.
I am speechless for sure, got a few other things as well.View attachment 325238
Gregg are those real wood grips on that CZ 52? How many "dots" does the top rail have? Do you have any real CZ ammo? Oh yeah, Yea Poulan!
