Thanks Tim...Me too! Glad I was able to put it on hold or it would have been gone. Sold my Mac 610 last night on CL for $120 too, so it was an all around good saw day. Doesn't count the old '63 Mac 200 the wife found on CL for $25 for me last week. I need to upload some pics and update my sig, but dang 'net still out. Glad to have power though... Whew

I'll agree with that. Was a good running saw. Was a little leaky on the oil after it had been ran though.

And I took the tape off the handle and wiped it down. Nothing wrong with it. Nothing broken from what I can tell. No idea why it was there. ???

24" and a good skip tooth and let er ride, wanted on for my Mac but didn't have time to was two weeks so had to settle on an 18", it does the job. It had a Vanguard chain on it, I did like the shoe strings it shot out but would clog up in the clutch cover and was a pain to change the chain sharpener just to sharpen it. Had different angles compared to my other chains.

Any B&C suggestions?

I got a 32" on mine, just put on how long a bar you will usually need. They have the power for about anything. Don't go crazy trying to find a D007 bar for it, a D009 large Husky mount bar will fit just fine with a few minutes with a file to enlarge the slot from 9mm to 9.5mm.

A 655 don't NEED a skip tooth unless you would just want one.

I've seen some of the 36" Poulan Roller Tipped bars on the bay, they any count? I figure it came with the 20" hardnose, why not have a 36" roller branded the same way? I don't really want to use the 20" that came on it since it's original and has quite a bit of paint left of it.

Sure there good, mostly NOS Windsor speed tips. Unless you need a bar that big a lot, there hard to keep out of the dirt.

A 24" will probably ride on it most of the time. I was thinking maybe using that big bar for an alaskan mill. I got a few things around here that need slabbin'! :chainsaw:
