Mark..I think I know a fellow in Kentucky, that would be more than happy to put a AC sticker on anything you might have. :D

But I would be careful, he's liable to put a Mopar or Cummins sticker on too!

Gregg,

Yeah I heard you there. Don't want those other stickers on it, saw probably would never work again.

This dead soft 20 gauge copper spool wire is the cats azz for pulling Tygon tubing...I originally bought it
for a fishing applicaton, but it's now got a place in my saw repair box!

Cut a taper on the tubing end, punch a hole in it near the tip of the taper & stick this through the
hole, bend a bit over, and then go after it.

Randy, I'm sure that stuff works fine, I have always just used plain ole stove pipe wire. A pair or two of Hemostats is a must have also.

Guys who complain about putting fuel lines in most the time just don't know the tricks to make it simple. I just put a new line in the 25D I posted, simple, took like 2 minutes

how sweet it is to have new 40 year old parts

Cleaned up the garage a bit last night so I decided to take a couple saw "family photos". I've come a long way in year and a half after starting with 3 cream sickles:) (Sorry for the big pics)

Top picture, furthest bottom left chainsaw. What is it? I have one in pieces right now and trying to get replacement parts. I assume I sound like an idiot but can anyone help?

So here they are. The guy had well over 100 saws. The biggest Poulan was a 3700, a nice one at that but he prices for runners were too rich for my blood. I walked away with 3 descent 3400s. All have good compression. The brand new Oregon bars and chains were worth what I paid for all three. The 3000 is a very nice saw and I didn't have one yet. Has a ton of compression. The 3000 head is burnt but good partsimage.jpgimage.jpg

Good job, like you when I saw the pictures I thought there might be a gem in one of the piles. I take it none of the top handles were worth bringing home?

There was one extra cruddy pp25da. I passed. Bunch of micro saws in Poulan and craftsman colors. Nothing I wanted though. I have 2 real nice S25da saws so I'm filled there. I never grab the super 2 or mini Mac saws. When it comes to top handles I only use s25s. I'd run an ms200 if the price was right and it wasn't beat to hell
