Has anyone ever had one of their saws lock up just From sitting? One of mine did, I will tell the answer to what it was after responses

It shouldn't unless it filled up with fuel from tank pressure and a leaky metering needle. Hurts like a beotch when you reef on the starter.

I've seen that happen when people hang a mower on a garage wall.

Ah, spring on clutches came off, clutches stuck to drum and chain was rusted to the bar.

It was locked on the coil, I think saw stopped on magnet and coil last time it ran and coil swelled or moved tight to flywheel from sitting, I re adjusted coil and all seems well, I have never seen that before on one of my saws
