Picked up this Craglist find for $20. Choke rigged and oiler lever broken off. But its $20 worth of saw. But best part is it runs! 20" bar . 3400

Compression is never very high with these saws so it maybe OK. 130ish is normal

Nice snag on the poulan, I think he wanted it to go to someone that would put it on a selve for folks to see.

Acornhill got a little saw in the mail , and I got a big one today. BP is pretty dirty, but will clean up really nice I think. Compression is a bit low at 130, but may just live with it.

I agree rarefish . At my house resting between The 60" Super Wiz 66 gear and the 60" 1130G Homies !

Well it does run at #110 Might be a good firewood saw . Already beat up .

I agree rarefish . At my house resting between The 60" Super Wiz 66 gear and the 60" 1130G Homies !

I had a Super Wizz 77 with a 42 inch bar and some low life stole it. Was kind of selling off some of my collection and then started adding to it again. I sold my 7-29. But I replaced it with another Super 1050. Just something about those big square Homelites, one of these days I'll find a nice 2100. A friend had one back in the late 70's, always lusted after that one, Joe.

Might not be a bad idea to to just try a new set of rings, and ditch the cylinder gasket. That should kick compression up.
