This is what I made to do mine with, works very well for the different pistons. I just use a different insert for the size needed View attachment 696679
Todd, that's impressive. Nice work on creating your tool. Max.

No trick, just a pain. A little lube helps, cups have to go on first and then fight to get the isolaters in. Helps to use a Philips screw driver also as a lineup shaft because it is pointed.

Helps to have two extra hands I do know that

No, Poulan has been long gone, but I deleted the post because my brain farted lol. Omni manufacturers it at the Port in Shreveport, but Omni is also currently in the old Poulan plant as well, once I looked at the address I realized my mistake, so I deleted the post. It's still pretty cool for me though since I'm in Shreveport lolMade by Poulan workers?

It will likely help if you heat the isolators up with a hair dryer to soften them up a bit. Makes it easier to compress them.
Nice saw. I have one, not NOS. Runs pretty good
I needed another 3400 ,like I need a hole in my head. Still have that 4000 to check over and I do this. OH well. Couple weeks and hopefully I can do more. Surgeon said not to lift anything more than 10lbs. so I've been sitting to urinate.
