Was helping a young guy to build his first bigger poulan he got. Bought a 415 non runner missing lot of parts. Was his bb gift to himself for turning 17 he said.

So we were texting back forth as I pulled parts I could see he needed.

I see another " sears best " 3.3 by st louis but the fella refuses to ship! Grrrrr
Dont know how many you have in those.

One day I went. Ok I have enough of those in runners and started selling to locals and folks in my CR group.

Bet I sold close to 15 blue ones alone. One still had the box and maybe 3 tanks from NIB after going through it new.

This pic isnt all of them either. Just 5 of the blue.

This 60cc came in on trade on some parts another guy needed for a 65cc.

Trying to decide if I should part it to help others or try to save it. Sort of lost interest in these since using the 3.3 335 54cc all the time.

Was like I thought. Bearings has had moisture from setting over the years.
So this PP365 will get parted.
Clutch shows more wear then piston in my eyes.

I found a new piston in a bin other day I forgot about. Meteor piston kit and box didnt say anything for what saws on it.

Roger sent it to me with his old scored 475 piston when I mailed him a NOS piston like 11 years ago.

I checked that old meteor piston today. One Roger bought for 475 but could tell way off.

Is a 046 460 piston spec with the wider pin boss for husky poulan jred crank small end. For 475 2077 by meteor.
But as you see not right.

52mm 064 piston works better by opening pin bosses as is the 066 660 piston is too for 54mm.

Meteor's failed attempt at poulan 475 jonsered 2077 2083II piston.

So check your suppose to be aftermarket pistons specs are correct for your saw. This one to short everywhere. Pin to crown,, total, and skirt.

Didn’t even know these existed. Always wanted a better filter for my 4000 countervibe and happened across this on ebay! Managed to snatch it up! I always thought there was something wrong about the high rise cover with the standard air filter. If i manage to get a 3d printer down the road, ill be making the frame for these for sure! Wrap it with frogskinz and itll be perfect.

A few years ago you could pick those up for under 10 bucks but now if you can find one you've gotta dig a little deeper. I have 5 saws that take those filters and I bought enough of them to cover my needs for a few more years. Take care of that one and it will last quite awhile.

I'm new to this forum site, so hello all.
I only use Stihl chainsaws now, but I came across this thread, and it brought back memories of running our old Poulan 3400 Countervibe. We had a 20" bar on that one, of you had the engine tuned up and running well, that saw could make the chips fly!
The only Poulan I've used in recent years is my dad's PoulanPro PR5020.
