will do! I didn't know chrysler was ever in the chainsaw business?

pics from the auction, it seems the fella wants an awful lot for it, although I guess it is pretty rare.

Vintage 1968 Dayton chainsaw, model 3Z192 - eBay (item 150558749960 end time Feb-11-11 16:55:52 PST)

Yeah it is probably pretty rare and as a Dayton probably more so.

I'm not really into those types of older saws and don't know who made it for Dayton, it has that funky carb and air filter up front.

Strunk, Root or Lombard comes to mind but I don't really know off hand.

ohhhh I am so shocked, a chainsaw arrived at Mark's :potstir: UPS guy probably was thinking "what is in this box"

NOT

Oh he knows, :hmm3grin2orange:.

Who do you think fixed his saw. :msp_thumbup: He's got a farm boss. LOL

That truck is not a "Plow Truck" those are for full time beating the crap out of.

Thats my truck that just happens to get a plow put on it some for just myself

Yep, Bought a Jeep for the wife and had skid plates put on, we were burnin across a Iowa cornfield and she said "my truck!" I said "don't worry...its got skid plates" hehehehe

Whenever my dad got a new truck he would purposly put a dent or scratch in it then say "well now it's a work truck"...

I would have never guessed you would help someone fix their saw :monkey:

Like mopareman said they are two different saws. As far as I know the 5200 was built by poulan and was there design. The same as the 5400 and 8500. The 6000 was a dolmar design. If you are going to part it out and mopare does not get it I need some parts.

You call that side tracked??? Would take me all weekend.

Well, we got another 3" of snow this morning so I had to plow again, then had to photo a 490 for decals so you might be able to get some decals for your 590.

Then had to strip a S25 down to get a piston out for Brad, etc.

The 306 was already cleaned and primed, I just assembled what you see there.

Got to mask a little on it and the 5200 then I have to redo the bar clamp from the other 5200 I just did so I can repaint it (don't ask) when I'm painting the other stuff tomorrow.

Won't be long and you'll be on the patiently waiting 306 maybe?

BTW Mark your work looks good as usual.

While I had the camera out, I took a picture of my wall of fame in the shop.

These are some of my special to me saws. I also got some picutures of the "Poulan wing" in the back of the shop but it took me about 8 photos to get them all in. I need a extra, extra wide angle lens.
