Listen here now... I ain't cavin' in or anything like that... really, I'm not... seriously... I'm not.
But I checked the weather outlook for the upcomin' week... and tried to find the stipulations of the "loan" agreement (seems I'm not privy).
Well... now don't make more of this than it is... I moved some wood in the house today
But I'm friggin' done after this week... really... I'm friggin DONE‼

Still have a fire every night, brought 2 wheelbarrows of wood in today. Weather men are saying flooding rains and and cold temps the next few days. 10 day outlook is basically highs in the 50's lows in the 30's.

We had near 80° here yesterday... 70° today before the temp started droppin' like a rock in water.
This week is lookin' to be 'bout like yours... maybe even a couple lows in the 20s mid week.
I was stackin' wood when the rain hit and the temp started droppin today... friggin' soaked and near froze before I finished.
Needed a hot shower before the beer... and that's sayin somethin' :D

We have had a few days in the 60's, haven't seen 70* yet forget about 80. Stacking wood today and there is still ice at the bottom of the pile.

Things are pretty thawed out up here. But I was at my hunting cabin on Friday and one shaded north exposure hill still had ice on the ground.

Yeah... no doubt you boys out east took the worst of it this past winter.
We had an early start, and a (relatively) nasty February... but so did y'all.
Over-all, I wouldn't say our winter was all that bad... part of it quite mild and snow-free actually.

After not having a fire for a week, I had to get a fire going this morning. Cool, cloudy and rainy called for a little fire and I may have to get a fire going most morning this week. If it is sunny I don't need a fire this time of year.

Mr Whitespider ,off subject a bit ,but can you explain what this means ? It is a continental kit tire cover at my work . I notice it has the same words as under your avatar .

Mr Whitespider... but can you explain...
L-O-L ‼
Please, don't call me "mister" :D
Not sure how serious you are with that question, so I'll run with it under the assumption you don't know the story behind the "Lost in the 50s" under my avatar.

Back a year or two ago there were some threads about tires in which I advocated bias ply over radial. There were a couple other threads related to "old school stuff" at the time as well... like synthetic oil verses dino oil (guess which side I came down on :surprised3:). There was somethin' else, but I can't remember now. (Oh... and don't forget my long-standin' hatred of the elitist stoves.) Those threads went back-'n'-forth quite a bit, with some of "us" strongly presenting our positions (there were even pictures, videos, web "expert" quotes, and whatnot) ... but for the most part they remained fun and good-natured in content.

So anyway, a member here that don't post as much now as he did then, and was also a moderator at the time (Steve NW WI), barged into my user account and changed it to "Lost in the 50s". It was days, maybe even a couple weeks before I noticed it. Heck... it was damn funny (as well as deserved), so I've just left it that way... and it's still damn funny‼ At least to me it is... I still get a chuckle when I look at it.

I've posted it dozens of times here... if'n ya' can't laugh at yourself, ya' ain't got no sense of humor at all... a man unable to laugh at himself, is a sad individual indeed.

So... now ya' know...
And thanks... ya' put a big smile on my face and made my day.

It seems to me that recently you discovered the synthetic oil in the Harley golf cart was working better for you?

It-is-what-it-is
