been a lurker for a couple years.I'm a tree trimmer and it took me an extra year to graduate high school so be kind [or not] on spelling, comas ,and all the other stuff on writing on the computer.started as a groundsmen at 19, 39 now.i do mostly res.take-downs now.work for a large company.were on unemployment for a couple months now,so i spend all my time crappie fishing.I'm married with two daughters 14 and 17.

here's one of my buddies with a lil ol striper, he caught it on the 20th, in the Chesapeake bay.
bummer about being laid off with kids, I've got 4 teenagers, and no work.
hence no x-mas, at least not until Jan. when my work picks back up.

Haha....you gots me (want)....work is slow here but that is normal this time of year.It always picks up around feb and by march we are running in high gear.

true that, money starts flowing in Jan. with iced tree work, then like you said, come springtime......$$

my 2nd winter in Illinois, and I don't take warm weather for granted anymore.

on the crappies,we have several marinas around here ,they put bubblers underwater to keep the water moving so theres no ice in most parts of the docks,tear em up all winter.company i work for has been around for 20 years plenty of work not just enough to keep 4 crews busy 3 days a week.so on unemployment we go.

That's why my post-count slowed down I had to actually proof-read myself.

Look at some of my stuff from 5-10 years ago, you'll fell better.

I had a few people tell me that they first thought I was an idiot, then when they took time to decipher my posts...
